    ...Hong Kong Summer Studies Prelude

I had only decided to go Hong Kong for GSS(global summer studies)after the GSS application had closed.haa. Before that, i was one of those NTU students who didn't have a clue about GSS, GIP and other acronymically named exchange programs. It was JX who first mentioned about going to Hong Kong to take a course call Human Resource Management in Chinese University of HK(CUHK).

(Quick Info: Most NTU engineering students have to clear a module call Human Resource Management. And once a module is cleared overseas, it will only be graded as a pass/fail. If pass, you have cleared it without having it counted into your overall grades. Hence, many seniors went overseas to clear this course. You can figure out why so many students escape to overseas to take this course rite;).

Sinyi: Aiya GSS application closed already le..
JX: but GSS at Chinese Uni of HK is a fee-paying exchange(NTU not subsidising, apply as private student)so still can apply!
    Sinyi(thinking to herself): yea!

My parents were ok about me going for exchange, just that i have to pay everything on my own$_$ JX was not so lucky cos her parents feel that she alrdy visited HK many times sth like that. So in the end, it was just me applying.Even so, i didn't hesitate. Ever since i heard about this, i just..really want to go. REALLY.

Just weeks before setting off, emailed all the people going CUHK to look for someone to travel with. Luckily, people actually replied to my mail! Met up with LiYing, Jeremy and KweeSwee(also NTU students going HongKong exchange) after checking in at the flight counter. Even before my plane took off,i was already missing CZ and my family so very much.
